Crabapples and sloes picked in Chorlton

The Macbook I made of self / land / scapes which covers all the work I’ve done on the project to date arrived today. Hopefully this will be a useful way to explain the project and potentially find somewhere to exhibit the work. I think that I’ll make a book in this way for each project, both as a record, and as a marketing / advocacy tool for my work.

I have found a company to produce the giclee prints to re – construct the composite cellar steps image. I’m having a giclee printed of each photo, and tomorrow I’ll collage the two, get that image scanned and produce the final piece of work. Not sure yet what size the edition should be. David had a good idea of sending a copy of the edition to people who might be useful, or indeed who just might like to have one. This of course does mean more ‘exposure’, and further, exposure of my own fears about the whole process. Maybe its time to just grit the teeth and get on with it.

Aside from that, I’ve bought and am listening to the new Antony and the Johnsons album – “Swanlights”, having last week bought tickets for the MIF show he is doing with Marina Abramovic, Robert Wilson AND Willem Defoe……
